We have a 60 watt folding solar panel. We have 2 leisure batteries. The question is, do we wire one cable to the positive of one battery and the negative to the other battery or attach the two wires via crocodile clips (temporary use) to the one battery?
We currently have it attached to just the one battery and the reading is 13 on the unit above the door.
We are not attached to EHU. . Autotrail cheyenne.
Just wondered the best way to get a good charge or are we doing it right already.
Currently La Ferrière-aux-Étangs, France

Much the same as connecting two 12v batteries in parallel i.m.o. - positive connection off one battery & negative off the other.

It is recommended to have it wired like you have, i.e. positive on one battery and negative on the other. But a 60W panel is not going to put a lot of power in whichever way you do it, and it will take a long time to charge 2 batteries. 13V is only telling you that it is doing some charging, but it needs to be over 14V to fully charge the battery. More important is the number of amps that are flowing in for that voltage.
