Summers nearly here and I'm looking around for a couple of fold out chairs for sitting on outside the MH.

Any recommendations with a sensible price tag? I know you can get stuff for over a hundred quid a chair but that's getting daft really.

I'm 6'4" and 18 stone so wobbly stuff's no good for me. Any good links?

Cheers in advance guys and gals.

Paul

Lafuma eclipse, wider, adjustable back, light weight...for heavier peps.

Don't know if they would be of any interest but we have two Lafuma chairs for sale, they are the high back adjustable kind with extra head rests, I would like £40 for the two. We will be at Southport and Stratford if they are of any use.

Hang on there a minute. Whats with the wanting to sit out side your van. We pay loads of money for our pride and joy and as soon as the sun comes out we bugger off outside leaving the poor thing feeling empty.

You should try chairs to ensure they are comfy :-)

We have Royal Captain chairs and they're sturdy and fairly comfy. Now replaced with Royal Commander and seem to be on Amazon for £65 for a set of four?

Pop into go outdoors if you have one reasonable close they have a good range sensibly priced.

We use 'Moon chairs' look at my avatar. We picked them up from Blacks Leisure while they were having one of their many closing down sales. Extremely comfy, I always fall asleep in them (again, see avatar :D )

Although not in the light weight bracket, I too have trepidation in using out Lafuma chairs cos of size ist issues, so I use a fishing chair. TFG do a very good range at reasonable prices and GO Outdoors are the cheapest I have found. Adjustable legs so no worries about uneven ground, sturdy and fitted with side trays etc

Something along these lines, but loads available

Have you looked in at a local Go Outdoors store?

I'm sure they have folding chairs and you can try before you buy!

You will need to buy a Go Discount Card, £5, to get the discounted prices.

Dukdalf. They fold flat to 100mm. They weigh 3kg. they go to horizontal for sunbathing.
And they will carry up to 150kg.
They can be bought in various sizes and widths and there are footstools and leg rests available to match.
They are under the £100 squid mark.
They are superb. Ours look "as new" after 2 years.
Enjoy.

Got 2 Dukdalf recliners with the feet supports for £18 from our local household auctions last year. They're as new, and I know they were a bargain.

Flea bay do
premium folding gravity chair With side table by ishop247-net
for £42 each (2 day courier delivery) and will take 18 stone.
just bought 2 of these and the frames are the strongest that i have seen.
the only problem it the weight. The heavier the load the heavier the weight of the chair.
these are 10Kg each so heavy to carry but the build quality is good and they are solid.
they come with a good size clip on table.
no, i don't sell them, just sit on them...!
whatever you buy get it now before the prices go up!
good luck

We have had a variety of chairs with no real solution. I am 6ft3 and swmbo is 4ft11. We like something we can relax in and sit uprightish to a table to eat outside in suitable weather. Currently carrying three different ones.

We went for the Outwell Banff chairs. Great for those of us on the heavier side and wide in the beam.

Picked up 2 "Director" style Aluminium (Very Light) chairs with the attached Table thingy. 20quid each at the local Garden Centre "Sale" last Sept; Brilliant!!.

6'4" 13 stone :blusher: I have a pair of these and they are quite robust and comfy, I would recommend them, not light though(y).

Correction to my post about Dukdalf recliners, they weigh 4kg not 3kg.
But still fabulous !!
Mitch. :)
