Fogstar Black Friday

I have some 35mm2 flexi copper cables acquired on my travels. Is it suitable for connection to the busbars and inverter using some crimped tube lugs of the corresponding size?
Mike.

anyone know if you can fit a fogstar 105 amp battery under the passenger seat of a Carthago Malibu ?
It has a Electroblock , existing battery Exide 80 amp gel which I am removing and a Shault B2B all packed in there.
Is it difficult to move the battery to under the drivers seat ?

We have a 304Ah Fogstar battery and a 3000w Renogy inverter. We cook everything on 240v. Haven't used the oven or gas hob in 18 months, might even look at removing the oven, though it works quite well as a cupboard for the induction hob ...!
That's our intentions of use Dave, with the 2 x 305Ah and a 2000w inverter.

As we'll be static for a few weeks in the Spanish winter sun, it'll be interesting to see how we cope with the 320w of solar on the roof, before we need to plug in for the charger to top us up. The most in output per hour I have seen from the panels when we had older Gel batteries was 20A, at the sun's maximum height of the day.

Cheers,

Jock. :)

did the inverter come with the motorhome? otherwise, i would consider getting a 3000w Renogy, ours has been brilliant and easily allows more than one appliance on at a time, we can have the microwave and kettle at the same time, with power to spare ....

20A per hour from solar will more than cover your usage, but you already know that ! Limiting the LPG use was one of my priorities, hence the george foreman for bbq'ing

If you wanted to order anything Barrie I wouldn’t mind storing it for you
That's very kind of you Al n Val , but I'd rather buy and install before we head up through Europe as I don't think my actual setup will get me through the dull days I'll find in England and Ireland. So I'll probably go for the Eco-Worthy 280ah which is at a good price right now. Thanks everyone for your suggestions and offers, you really are nice people.
