I am but a sheep, I was thinking of the Fogstar Drift 300, but with 24% off at £529 I’ve been tempted into the 280 instead.
the 280 is incredibly good value. £1.90 per Ah. The 300 comes in at a pricier £2.33 but those extra 20Ah seemed worth it even at £8.50 per Ah over the 280.

The sensible money is still probably the 280 though

I m even thinking about another 280 at that price

Many of us have got over 300 ah our of the 280.

No idea if you might get 320+ out of the 300 though

We’re currently 12v only so not big electricity consumers, we’ve been ok on a Sterling lithium 120ah battery with solar and B2B. I therefore struggled to justify the extra expense for the slightly bigger battery, hopefully the 280 should give us enough wiggle room for a while. 🤞

Any user feedback on the under seat variant from Funsters?
Mike.
Looking, just been out to measure 😄

I'm sure I read the 280 fitted on its side under the seat ?

That's £700 you just cost me 😠....

 - I've been looking at the Pro 300Ah for ages and I don't need it yet but at that price....

£600 here, went for the 300ah drift to go with the other one I already have. £300 cheaper than the first one I bought off them 12 months ago.

Anyone got the Funster discount code to work with these offers?

When they have general sales on, discount codes don't work. Which is fair enough I think.

The spec sheet says you can deplete 300A out of it so either there's some extra capacity or the claim is wrong.

I suspect there probably is an extra 10-20Ah of 'wiggle room' capacity in there. I guess I'll find out at some point next year!

In my battery storage area I could not fit another battery side by side but possibly could if they were on there side on top of each other, would they be okay stacked or perhaps I should make a frame

Anyone know if the 280ah standard size would fit under a seat in a Ford Mk 8 Chausson?
Or do I need to get the seat base one?

Lenny HB helped me fit one. Early days but we did 2 weeks in Scotland in September off grid with e-bikes and it was great. Bigger test coming up so will report back then.
Helped! I did 90% of the work.
