The stereo system in my American built 5th wheel is a Jensen........

Apparently, it's typical in America for stereos to only pick up odd numbered FM frequencies, ie 90.1, 90.3 90.5 etc. It wont lock onto 90.2, 90.4, 90.6 etc.

We go to Spain for the winter and wouldn't you know it, the English radio station I like down there is broadcast on even numbers!

I have a DAB which will re-broadcast on FM but there's no DAB down there.

So, the question is (at last!).............
does anyone know of a small, affordable unit which would pick up the even numbered FM frequencies and rebroadcast on odd numbers?

..........yes, I know, why don't I just replace the Jensen will a European unit. Might come to that.

I would be very surprised if there wasn't a method of changing to European frequency steps - Jensen sell their stuff over here and won't re-design it for different markets. Changing will be either a menu item (maybe Locality or some such) or by a jumper or solder link inside the unit. I'd contact their support people for a start.

RESULT!

Got this sorted at last. E-mailed Jensen (ASA Electronics) in the States to ask if it was possible/feasible to have the unit re-calibrated for Europe.
Turns out there's a small switch on the back hidden in a recess and not shown in the manual.
Left sets it to 200Mhz (America) and right sets it to 50Mhz (Europe).

Easy when you know how!;)
