Hi,

Not sure how to trace a Spanish reg, I know a couple of Spanish Coppers though.

Some scruffy 8astard dumped a pile of sh1t on my street in Javea, Spain.

I poked through it and found a burnt out reg plate. Not sure if the plate/registered owner is the culprit, but I am pretty p155sed off about it.

And because I am not allowed to film the street, I cannot replay any CCTV.

Very often when we go to Stanstead Park for lunch someone has tipped a load of rubbish in the lay-by next to some woods...
If they get caught one out of five times they only get a fine so still works out cheaper.

Why are you not allowed to use CCTV?

Signposting that you have video surveillance cameras in place is essential.

In some situations it is legal putting cameras on private property even if they grab images from public spaces, provided it is essential for the surveillance, the captured images are not published in any way, there is no alternative way to do it and the camera system is an “offline” system, i.e. not connected to a remote alarm central by any means."

In Fairness, Spanish Law is only enforced when it suits, as we all know.

If memory serves me correctly "O" is Oviedo.. (Asturios)..

The first car I owned back in 1984 was AC 7227 ?... Alicante registered... before they went single letter at the front...

I think you will find that the first digit is a ‘zero’ not a letter ‘O’ as the plates changed from Provincial to National designation.

There are two refuse sites, one is 200 meters away, the other less than 500. There is also the refuse and recycle depot within 1.5kM.

The rubbish is mainly builders rubble. Looks like part of a demolished outside shower.
