Hi,
Does anybody know if it's possible to do anything to increase the water pressure at the tap on our 2009 Swift Bolero? It has a Flojet water pressure pump. I understand there is an adjustment screw on the bottom of the pump but this adjusts only when the pump pressure turns on and off and will not alter the actual water pressure at the taps/shower. Any ideas please?
Thanks Graeme

The pump pressure is factory set and cannot be altered.
the adjuster simply alters the point at which the switch operates the motor.
The only way to alter the pressure is a new, higher pressure pump.

With our 2009 Swift / Bessi we had flow pressure problems especially with the shower, when I checked the supply pipework it was amazing how many right angle fittings were used, removed most of them and the flow improved, but eventually ended up installing a higher pressure pump. If you do increase the pressure make sure you have access to all of the system to check for leaks.

The more pressure you have the more water you will use. Having said that if it's really pathetic try adjusting the tap or check the flow by disconnecting the pipes from the tap and test. Do you still have the multi hole sprinklers fitted in the tap? Without them the water pressure will appear poor.
