Maybe someone can advise me! Does anyone use this method to clear their pipes of water when draining down. Is it easy for a non techie to install and use and is it worth it or do you use another method. If this has been discussed before I apologise. I don't seem to be able to find the search button on this new site maybe someone can help with that too.

Thanks mike will read through that lot later then. So how did u get the info what buttons do I push lol

Thanks mike I will read through that lot a bit later. So how did you get to the relevant search tab. I used to be able to do it on the old site but my aged brain cells are not working on here. :(

Hiya - Search is up top right hand side above your avatar, hope that helps. :)

I have fitted the Floe system .... very simple job.

I pressurise mine with a Ring digital tyre inflater and it certainly gets more water out of the pipes and saves having to blow into the taps.

They are a bit pricy but are sometimes available at reduced prices.

Of course you could make up your own as done by @Techno100.

Aha all is revealed thankyou @techno I have just looked up your bit about the floe and it is very helpful. My pipe system looks a bit cluttered around the pump do you think it can be done

Hi fitted one took about 30mins (cost around £30 delivered on ebay) I did buy some pipes cutters of ebay about 2.50 to make sure cuts were square and easier than a stanley knife.
I have to say i was surprised how much water came out of the sink tap, also the boiler

Used my DIY one today and left the system in storage with 20psi in it.
Should still be there until I let it out (y)
