Flo-Gas keysites

Just been reading the latest MMM, and there is an interesting letter printed regarding flo-gas lpg key system, whereby a user applies for an account to with flo-gas, you pay a small deposit for a key which then gives you access to their lpg system for refills.

They seam to have quite a few available stations in the North East at least and they may be an alternative to he likes Morrisons, although, I cannot find any prices listed and non of the sites are on filllpg (that I can find) but that could be because it's an account based system.

Does anyone already have an account with them, and is it any cheaper?

Yes I have an account. Its the old Country Wide farmers that went bust. Its dearer than most other fill points. About 70p a litre I think, not filled for a long long time! I pay by direct debit each month, no gas no pay. Some sites can be awkward to access with motorhome. As unattended they are generally open 24/7.

I had a look into it a while back, but the "key" sites are very few and far down our end of the country.

There were a couple of threads running last year where funsters had looked into it.

I have an account but unfortunately the local supplier no longer exists. If I remember rightly there was no vat involved so there was a saving.

we have a local flogas plant that is at least 10p dearer than Morrisons a couple of miles away

Thank you for the feedback everyone, I guess if it's more expensive than Morrisons, it's a non starter.

I'll pop into my nearest outlet the next time I'm passing and see if I can get a current price to compare with my local Morrisons and take it from there
