I've just taken the MH ('05 Fiat Ducato) for a drive round after a couple of months in storage, and the left indicator is flickering, with the relay clicking rapidly. The rear bulb has failed (ie doesn't work as an indicator or as a hazard light) - is this what's causing the relay to misbehave, or has the relay packed up and blown the bulb?

The right indicator's fine.

Thanks in advance.

Bulb. Rapid flashing is a classic sign of bulb failure. The relay will be fine.

This has just happened again on my van. The bulb was only replaced 6 months ago. Does this mean the wiring is stuffed somewhere?

Replies appreciated thanks - I'll try a new bulb (and check the old one's actually failed).
