Fleurette

I'm skint so stay at home and send me the money instead

I think that make has been mentioned on here a few times, but I haven’t bothered to do a search. Maybe you’ll find something under the section that covers specific van types, or use the search facility.

We were there a couple of weeks ago and liked what was on offer. However, when I checked the website last week they didn’t have anything for sale

Bit of a departure from the AT Bob
Flippin hard work trying to find a MH worth looking at. What i see in the Fleurette is something at least worth having a look at. We will see.

The man tells me they have the model i want to look at in stock in the yard and ready for registering??? Going up there on Tuesday. We will see.

We have a Florium from Wanda and are pleased with it. Check payloads though, this seems to get the most comments from others.

We were considering Fleurette. We saw them at the NEC and then went to Wandahome to see the range. The vans seem well built anc they have different layout to i the companies. However in the end we bought a second hand Frankia.

Where would you have warranty work done round ‘ere

Really don't know yet. Step at a time. Lot's of posts about warranty work eh.
If it's a lose screw or a bit of re gluing trim i think i can manage not like some on here. Engine wise it would seem the local Fiat dealer would sort (if on Fiat chassis).

One of the Floriums which we looked at had broken fibreglass on the bonnet and front skirt. I didn’t ask how long it would take to replace that.

One of the Fluerette had broken trim under the near side bench. Again I didn’t enquire about it

However, I was concerned about the number of electric sockets: one behind the hob and one at the back of a cupboard for the tv.

Otherwise we liked them

I had lengthy discussions with them in February 2020 to purchase an AClass. They never returned my calls and I always had to call them back. Eventually I gave up and have still not heard from them. After doing research I decided not to buy the Flourette brand due to worries regarding future warranty work as they don't have many dealers.

It would appear any warranty work on any van in any part of the country is going to be fingers crossed. I have read stories of a given dealer being great and stories of the same dealer being crap.
We will physically look in the first instance as vids and brochures do not tell the full story.
If there is a Fleurette layout we like within budget i will then do further research on warranty, servicing etc etc.
Not sure how many different models Wandahomes have to look at. Waiting for him to come back to me. But we are going tomorrow anyway to look.

The dealer network can always be a worry especially with those trading in the unknown brands.

We bought our MY19 Globecar at a time when there were 7 UK national dealers in existance but now there's only 3 motorhome dealers trading in Globies following a collapse of the network (and that's including the addition of a new one openeing up in the last 12-14 months).

We are going to HULL somewhere called South Cave (will we need to take our passports?) Satellite says its just about 2 hours from us. I read some have traveled a lot further than 2 hours for warranty work.

That's the place. Tell them the buyer from Durham is still waiting for a return phone call and email from February 2020.

Many years ago i went to Hull K R to watch Salford play them (is that the same place?). Ended up fighting all afternoon and missed the match. Mad buggers.

Had a look at them at Caravan Salon a couple of years ago, layouts replicated Rapido but appeared a little more upmarket. The main difference the body was cream rather than white. I thought they were quite good.

South Cave is actually quite a nice area. If you are going in the Motorhome and staying over, there is an excellent CL called Willow Pond. I posted some pics on 'Photo of the Day' last week. 👍

Worth knowing for future ref.
We are going up in the car so we can get a quick getaway in case Minxy Girl comes back early. :ROFLMAO:

We bought our Fleurette Magister 70LD in 2017 from Webbs in Reading. They ceased dealing in them that year so when I discovered a leak around the central window and a crack in the wash basin I was referred on to Harbour Creek on Hayling Island. The warranty process took from May to November but the work was completed to my satisfaction. Expect that warranty work will take a long time to authorise and you will have to travel to Hull or Hayling Island but it was worth the inconvenience in the end. We are really happy with our motorhome and have no intention of replacing anytime soom.
