Flat Battery

Well, just been up to our MH and I suppose like a few more members we found we had a flat vehicle battery. Question is do we replace it as we think it's been on since new. It's a 2015 Imala 615 diesel auto, what type of battery did they fit to this model so we can get one the same or similar ?. Seems the Solar pannel might only charge the Leisure Battery as it is fine ?

If you charge it up and put a battery master on it, it might be ok if it's not been flat long. It will certainly have reduced it's life anyway.
If you buying a new one I'd get the make and model off the old one then you can either get one exactly the same or better ?

PS measure the space it's in so you know what will fit ?

Check the battery for size - on my Peugeot Boxer it has space in the battery compartment for a larger battery. The original one was the smaller of the 2 options that can be fitted

I replaced the small with a larger Yuasa

As above, a Battery Master from vanbitz is a good idea, discounts available for funsters

I think I would get a new one but not fit it until it looked likely that I would be using the MH again unless fitting a battery master or similar at the same time.

...it connects between your solar panel and both batteries to keep them charged, in a nutshell!

I know his is tempting fate but I have solar and a Battery Master on my from new 2012 Bailey, so far so good.
