hi funsters, the problem with the batteries going flat was due to a dud on board charger.
my thanks to sargents of grimsby who sent a new charger overnight and to my dealer, don ammot leisure ltd, who replaced the charger within an hour.

so , its off to the cotswolds next friday for a second trial run.
