We parked there last year when we took grandkids, no problems.

Saved on meals too, took kids back to granny's van for a picnic. We had parked next to the grass verge purposely. kids were refreshed and happy to go back in again. Granny saved a bit of cash too

The caravan/camping site is a nightmare with no control or discipline. We took the grandkids for a weekend and there were tents of all sizes pitched in among caravans and motorhomes. We found someone had pitched a tent with its guy ropes under our motorhome. We couldn't walk down that side of the van the tent was so close. The site management weren't bothered. No 6m or 3m rule just cram em in.
