Dear All,

I am interested in fitting a Scooter Rack to the rear (obviously) of our Bessacarr E795 (2004) Motorhome. Which rack would you recommend, where can you get one fitted in the South Wales area (if possible) and what is the average price please? Any inherent problems having one fitted?

Thanks

As aba say's watch the weight. You may appear to have a large chunky vehicle but when it comes to fitting all our toys you will get a shock
See previous discussion about racks. Use the weighbridge before and calculate very carefully, allow for the pendilum effect that increases weight dramatically on the rear axle.

You will have a weight problem, I doubt if the rear wall is strong enough, suggest you phone my Service Manager and pick his brains as its a Swift product and he knows them backwards.

Best bet is a towball mounted one (I think)

Obvious maybe, correct probably not.

Because of the big overhang distance from rear axle to rack in all cases it would be better on the front where the axle is much closer to the end of the bodywork.

Doing it is another matter.
