I'm a newbie
Good Morning,

As you can probably gather I'm a bit keen, newbieitis. My question for today is around seat swivel bases. I would like to fit one to the passenger seat to give just that little more seating options when parked. I would like to do it myself as my Bank Card is in a state of shock.

Question:
Is it easy to do?
Do you need any special tools?

I had a look under the seats with a torch last night, God knows what the neighbours think! and the rear fittings look very hard to get at/see the rear bolts, which i couldn't see, seemed by touch to be different to the front.

Had to stop at this point as Blue Lights at the end of the road !

Any advice as always very welcome

It’s fairly easy to do providing that you buy the correct swivel seat mechanism for your Peugeot Boxer model.
The seat is removed, the swivel plate bolted on and the seat put back.

Easy job, done it a couple of times. As said above, the seats are VERY heavy. I never had problems with the bolts. There are several variations of swivel plates with different swivel options. Picked mine up from CAK Tanks as a kit specific for the van make/model and was very happy with them. Fitting them made a big difference to using the van as I effectively added half a meter or so to the usable habitation length.
