Hi everyone

We are looking to buy a Fiamma bike rack to go on the back of our Autotrail cheyenne 840D. Has anyone ever fitted one of these? We would like to know if we can do this ourselves and are there any pitfalls to doing this, also if you have had a company fit it which one? One other thing is do you know where the fittings on the back of the motorhome should be.
Lots of questions sorry but we need to get it right.

Many thanks
Marilyn

First thing you need to know is where the manufacturers put the strengening parts in the back wall. Try Autotrail but don't hold your breath the manufacturers would rather let the Dealers do it at exobiant cost. Find one that's already been fitted and get your tape measure out. If you drill holes in the wrong place you may find wiring in the walls. You will only get one chance to drill the holes filling them always shows.

I'd look at ANY Autotrail with the same interior layout. It doesn't have to be just the 840D. I would imagine that the rear end of that 'van is identical to many in the Autotrail range.

Hi

Thank you very much for the photos they are very useful. We think that we will go ahead and buy one and fit it ourselves.
