    Thanks fellas
PP the toilet floor is like that througout the bedroom but it will be given some cushion floor as next job. The threshold bar covers disimilar floor coverings in readiness.

Yet again another job well done Andy, only thing I could see that would improve your bedroom is fitting a nice piece of wood as a shelf on top of your beer crates for some scented candles..you could even route out the groves so the candles (four candles) fit and don't slide about when you drive.

    Just a suggestion like.

Floor does look nice and so does the carpeting :)

Been pondering about re carpeting ours but not sure whether to cut out the old one, or place another on top. The one fitted was laid across the entire van and then built on. Makes it much quieter I believe, but would need to cut out the old one and then lay the new one :)

    Thanks.

I made a template from a roll of B&Q clearance wallpaper £1
I re hung the toilet door 4mm higher rather than shave the door bottom. This worked a treat and the door no longer creaks as the hinges now all line up, another example of Rapido bad assembly rectified.

Camel but it is in the slippers area (y)

The crates have been road tested on two trips now so I know they stay put. There is an aluminium strip that keeps them tight to the wall.

have laid carpet in several vans, as its a quick and cheap way to improve most interiors. often you see people selling offcuts of expensive carpet on ebay or gumtree. otherwise speak to a friendly carpet fitter, as many big bits end up in the skip

great tip to use wallpaper as a template, i use newspaper overlapped and joined with masking tape. just remember to mark which side is up

Yup this carpet at 1.9x4 metres was marked up at £76 but when I asked them to unroll it and roll it the other way to fit my car it was noticed that a couple of foot full length was dirty so he knocked it down to £40. We gambled it would vacuum off and it did.
This is the back, it is fully woven Wilton class (y)

We bought a 3x3 metre off cut of quality embossed cushion floor for £80 this will do the bathroom at home with enough over to do the van three times

I've been assured that we'll get fed up of the pattern many years before it'll wear out
