fishing advice

    can any one tell me if you can fish of the pier at scarborough or any harbours in that vicinity. thanks

    You can certainly fish of their North bay...did it for years....lovely place

    Again you certainly used to be able to....what rod type you using...beach or peer?

    We used to a lot of beach casting...it was a rocky with a kelp bed in front of you but we never had any problems...

    well here goes it will be one of my 12foot carp rods 3lb test curve just fancied a bit of lure fishing in the sea try anything once .

    Sounds Brill

    Used to fish all night off Shoreham Boom or Lancing beach...

    Love the atmosphere and calm of it all and the breakfast of fresh fish in the morning.

    Never fished off Scarborough.

    A friend was camped on there overnight last week without any problems.
