Decide where you want to go.
Decide which route you want to travel to get there.
Decide what to take with you that may be difficult to get in Spain.
Decide when you want to go.

THEN

Go and DO IT. :Laughing::Rofl1::Laughing:

OK jokes over. Firstly legal stuff. All the legal paperwork,

Insurance certificate;
MOT Certificate (if over 3 years old);
Driving license for all intended drivers;
Passports;
Ferry Tickets.

Sun glasses

Winter Woolies. :Laughing:

I believe the weather is turning for the worse.:Rofl1: perhaps the winter woolly is about right.
Was thinking more on the paperwork required, having said that, no one has ever asked for it.
Dover Customs did empty my van on return though.
Didn't seem to believe I was traveling alone in a M/H:Rofl1:
It was a laugh:Rofl1:

Bring originals of all vehicle documents plus copies.
Proof of payment of your insurance.
If you wear glasses to drive bring spare pair.
Re gone with the winds post if you are going to the Brit part of Spain yes fuel is expensive.Here in Valencia area €1.03 liter app.
2 Warning triangles ,reflective vest for everyone on board to be stored inside vehicle not in external locker.
And dont forget do not pay asking price on campsites always haggle.
Most of all bring your sense of humour,you will need it when you see how the Spanish drive

Good luck.:thumb:

and a large pocketfull of shrapnell for the toll booths through france...:Sad::cry:

We don't spend a lot on tolls because we are small enough to get on most of the alternatives. All other replies are really good advice. Just take your time and you will find it very easy. When do you go and what part of Spain do you want to be in? We go at the end of December heading for Barcelona area. PM if you want any sites down there. Tony
