I'm pretty relaxed about it.
Had 20cm of hard packed snow on roof and 4cm of ice over front of truck and no issues after it melted/was removed.
I take a collapsable ladder and brush snow away from the vent for the kitchen.
Hardened skiers take a clothes peg to put on the heater vent (alde do a small cover also) so the water is directed away from the side of the truck. When you leave, there remains a 40cm high ice stalagmite!
The fresh-light aircon "window" has a small crack on the outer of the two windows. I have no recollection of hitting e.g. a branch and don't remember crack back in May after returning from skiing, so may or may not be due to ice.

The Austrians do not see minus 25 and below as any reason to stop enjoying motor homing.

p.s. - I have learnt that it is important that e.g. bungee lines are covered to protect the paintwork. - a decent coating of ice and a wind can cause the lines to rub on the paint.
