Very windy and the odd spot of rain but loving it.
We’re at White House Beach in Suffolk.

Get into Europe. The UK is not a patch on the E.U. for motorhoming.
Absolutely not true , I have motorhomed extensively in both the UK and Europe and each have their merits .
Why do some people appear to take great pleasure in knocking our beautiful isles ?
In fact you are talking twaddle .
OP enjoy your adventures , lovely looking van !

Enjoy your first trip away . I still remember our first night in our first van, it was brilliant and the memory of it still makes me smile.

I didn’t take it that they were knocking touring in Britain Ot “talking twaddle”.

There certainly are some lovely places to visit in the U.K. but……

The weather is usually better on mainland Europe

The provision of Aires and Stellplatz are not available in the UK

Visiting mainland Europe gives an insight into other cultures.

European countries generally welcome the business from motorhomes. The U.K. gives the impression of tolerating them. Look at the lack of parking provision in towns. Car Parks with height barriers and “vehicles must park entirely within the lines

This year we have so far, visited Scotland for two weeks.
Visited Northern France for two weeks.
Visited the Isle of Wight for one week.

We also have a six week tour of Spain/France booked, together with a six week tour of Italy.

In two weeks we will be in the Brecon area and later in the summer back in Scotland.

Yes, both the U.K. and mainland Europe have their respective charms but “talking twaddle”, don’t think so.

I'm fairly certain your view is not agreed by the majority of seasoned Funsters who have experience of the U.K. and Europe. However, Hey- Ho ! your entitled to you point of view and I wish you grate adventures in your future travels in the U.K.

How can you be fairly certain when I clearly said that I’m a seasoned motorhomer both in the UK and abroad ? Where is your evidence base ? And thank you for allowing me to be entitled to an opinion / point of view. 💡
I’m slightly perplexed however by the photo of the desolate scrubland , papier-mâché animals and scooter + cyclist ????????

I'm not going to get into an entanglement with you. The photo is from Morocco, its a bit different than Blackpool.
