First time on ferry tomorrow evening going from Dover to Calais what do I need to be careful about
Forgetting your passport / credit card / family. Everything else is easily bought / replaced.
You need to be careful about enjoying yourself too much; Because once you've sampled the roads/sites/aires/ that France has to offer, motorhoming in the UK just never seems as good
Have a great trip
Mind the frogs .....plenty out there, ...They jump everywhere.... To tell the truth , they are waiting for GB motorhomes to come over to have some fun , scaring them , horning, moaning....Jeezzzz I'd be very careful if I were in your shoes.... Are you sure you want to come over????
Oh ok then , have a great time then!
Gassing ....its absolutely rife over there apparently
Oh and the shanty town full of wannabe immigrants hanging round calais
Hmm overloading on Leffe beer and lovely Wine, to be honest I'm relatively new to owning a MH ( purchased last Oct ) my first outing ever was to Belgium for a week , then 7 1/2 weeks touring France.
My advice is to plan where you wish to go and arrive early enough to enjoy at least some of day , try not drive at night.
Well made it without any issues
