just been away for the first time didn't venture to far just up to ripon and stay in topcliffe had a few beers in the angel pub and stayed on the car park,was all very quite and peaceful, will be going to the lakes this week,and on 2nd june france here we come looking forward to that,ferry book seafrance £52 return with a 8.15 am crossing, hoping to stop in the french aires that everyone talks about on here so should be an experence anyway thats all for now will take pics and post here, the van pics are on my profile not sure how to get them here alan&bev

french aires

there are some aires not safe to stay on . camperstop from vicarious books is good for stopovers . we use this every trip . have a great time :Smile:

Glad to know you had a good time. Enjoy France and it's aires. Don't stop on the motorway ones even those with services, but come off the motorway and use those in small towns villages, All the Aires is a book that is another help.
