Hi I have an Elddis 175 motorhome almost 3 yrs old. Discovered the blue line approx 10 cm up at base of rear wall and 1 corner. Crude damp meter shows 33%. Will add more sealant along outer seam and corners. Question 1) is it water ingress or result of condensation / poor ventilation. 2) if warrenty rejected because I've added sealant, can blue lines be removed/panels dryed out? Am due hab test soon so will be monitoring situation. Thanks

Probably come up from the road. Our wheel arches weren't sealed.

Your hab test with damp check should show what you have found, but best to highlight it also.the blue is a stain from the insulation behind the wall board, which won't disappear on drying unless it is replaced with a new board.Who is doing your hab check for you ?

Is it still under warranty?

if so, don't mess with it, get it tested and start the claim process.

If asked about the new sealant just advise you were attempting to stop it getting any worse, otherwise don't mention it. (y)
