Re a PVC without an oven. I now I have asked this question many times over the last 12 months. Please don’t remind me.

IF IF IF we went for PVC without an oven, could some of you answer a couple of questions?

What electric cooking aids could I use in place of an oven (I know about the double skillet for gas), if I fitted :-

2000amp pure sign inverter and two 110 lithium batteries.

If you had a 2000 amp inverter you would have a 7 ton lorry !!!!!!!!!!!!!

The problem is that to cook anything takes more than a few minutes.. I have not worked anything out but even with 210 amp of lithium power I reckon you would end up with 2 dead batteries before you cooked anything mch !

I use a standard Remoska from an inverter. It's only 600w. Wouldn't use it for long cooking though unless on EHU.

Not sure this is the answer you want, but......

.......when we bought our PVC, (now exchanged), it came only with a grill. We asked if it was possible to fit an oven. It was changed for a mini oven/grill at our cost, (unit only, fitting free).

Although not as versatile as a full oven it was ideal for reheating/pizzas/pre-prepared meals etc. There was little temperature control available but it did all we needed while we owned it.

In our PVC we have a full oven and it is used all of the time. Why wouldn’t you?
We have a full oven in ours and it makes a good cuboard,,Never ever used it but we usually follow the Sun in Europe so tend to live on salad and BBQ.Got a Romeska which we find very good.BUSBY.

To give you some numbers, you have about 80% of 220Ah available, which is about 175Ah

A 600W Remoska would use 600/12 = 50A. The maximum time would be 175/50 = 3.5 hours.

If you use the maximum 2000W from the inverter, that's 167A. Your two lithiums should be able to handle that amperage without much of a problem. But at that rate they would only last one hour.

If you really can’t fit a real oven, then I can recommend one of these Omnia stove-top ovens. It’s about the size of a wok and you can cook just about anything in it, as long as you don’t want to reheat ready meals in their original packaging.

They‘re also available from Mr Bezos’ emporium.

I probably said this before on one of your previous posts but.....I had a german motorhome with just 2 rings for 10 years and never missed oven or grill, you just adapt
Try cooking meals at home with just 2 rings, it's possible but just takes some adjustment in your cooking technique

Just fitted a full sized oven in my self build PVC, it has three gas rings and one electric ring for use on EHU, it's the same model as we had in our Bessacar MH, we liked it so much we wanted the same again.
