I am after your suggestions for our first night out in our new van when we pick it up next week (fingers crossed). Ideally I want to be near the coast/seaside.
Whitby down to wells next to the sea is the area I'm thinking of. Quieter site the better really and sucluded is fine as I'll be to excited to go anywhere.
Your help is appreciated to make this a great night.

Go wild camping,,secluded, beside the beach , listen to the waves crashing and the rain stoating off MH roof and the erm wind rocks you to sleep.;)

Heavenly bliss, truly a night to remember. (y)

You couldn't go far wrong with Sunny Skegness!! Not a million miles from your home, and at this time of the year, you wont even need the heating on. (y)

Aug 09 to date 9,000 miles!
Depends what they mean by 'large' though, doesn't it? Weight or height/length ?

We quite like Skegness Sands if we stay in Skeg other than summertime.

Do they mean 'work' vans, as in builders Transits towing caravans?
They do mention motorhomes so unless they only take PVC's they won't be getting many MoHo's.

Richard.
See below there description. I'll call them and see what they say.

I'd take that to mean any van over 8 meters (seems to be a common size cut off) and work vans.

See below there description. I'll call them and see what they say.
They say 'vans' rather than 'motorhomes' whereas on other parts of the website they refer to 'motorhomes'.
I take that as meaning commercial vehicles but, as you say, a phone call will clarify.
Do let us know the outcome because it looks like a good location.

Richard.

Well I've just read the website again to get the contact details and I've noticed they close on the 31st of Oct, as we probably won't be picking our van up until after that date it looks like it will have to be one we try next year.
