Just back from our first night away. It rained a lot so we spent rather more time in the MoHo than we expected. What we did expect was to return with a long list of things that we need to buy or forgot to pack; we were not disappointed.

Beer nicely chilled in the fridge. No bl***y bottle opener. Had to improvise.

[Two on Tour]

Ah, looks like you need check lists. One for what to load on your motorhome for the trip, one for what to do and switch on when you get there and one for what to disconnect, wind in and store away before leaving the site. Hand the lists to your wife or partner for them to call off the check lists, your wife or partner then feels that they are being involved and you have someone to blame if something is forgotten.

Heehee! So know that feeling!! Just so you know, the lists get longer are added to, or subtracted from depending where you are. Our last trip I forgot to lock a cupboard, or draw, even the fridge. A good one is forgetting to put the stool on wheels in the bathroom, only remembered due to a not do gentle nudge as it careened into the back of us! Not locking the shower door is a normal one for me. All this despite a pre flight check list!!
