If it's like sky go, it probably won't work even if it's side loaded, unless someone on here knows better because they have it working themselves, not read that it works on the Internet somewhere, the only way you can get sky go to work is to run it on a laptop using the tv as your monitor, you can't cast it from android or apple devices and it won't work on a firestick. I would imagine that Virgin will be the same, the reason they won't let it work is because they want you to buy multi room subscriptions.Hi we have a firestick and CAN get it to work in the moho with wifi from our phones. Only thing i can think of is to make sure you have the option on your iphone under Personal Hotspot set so "allow others can join", this is usually all that is needed. Also as another test you could force your phone into airplane mode and then back off so it then starts all the services back up. Apart from that I have no idea i am afraid.Usually use a mifi unit to connect to the firestck which works a treat but when I try and use my iPhone (which has 100gb data) it cannot find it. Tried scanning the network. Once just by chance it popped up. I have been able to use it in the past but there has been an iPhone software upgrade since - maybe that’s the issue?
Tried rebooting the firestick several times. Any thoughts anybody.
Then you need to turn down the resolution. Video on a tv or phone does not need the high data rate of 4k, so picking a smaller file to stream will allow it to play without spoolingMy firestick seems to only work on 4g, it really struggles on 3g.
Actually the hot spot enablement was the issue - once I turned it on everything was as it should be. I must confess with particularly the Motorhome, but not exclusively, unless I write the procedures down it disappears from the grey matter quite quickly. Maybe that the issue of being over 90!Only thing i can think of is to make sure you have the option on your iphone under Personal Hotspot set so "allow others can join", this is usually all that is needed. but remember, if you only use it in your motorhome and have to access data, then using a firestick at 4k resolution uses far more data, so most people set it for a much lower resolution, which sort of defeats the point of spending more money for the 4k version ! - if you have an older firestick in the house though, you could always move that into the moho and use a newer 4k version at home?Anyone interested Amazon currently have all of the fire sticks on offer…..including the new faster 4K max
From 16 quid for the lite, 21 quid for the normal, 26 quid for 4K to 36 for the 4K max

But who wants to watch a poorer quality picture by setting at a lower resolution, sort of defeats the point as well.but remember, if you only use it in your motorhome and have to access data, then using a firestick at 4k resolution uses far more data, so most people set it for a much lower resolution, which sort of defeats the point of spending more money for the 4k version ! - if you have an older firestick in the house though, you could always move that into the moho and use a newer 4k version at home?
ermm, i do !! SD resolution is fine by me when paying for data via a mobile sim to watch tv/movie/footballBut who wants to watch a poorer quality picture by setting at a lower resolution, sort of defeats the point as well.
Could you tell on a typical motorhome-sized tv…..?But who wants to watch a poorer quality picture by setting at a lower resolution, sort of defeats the point as well.

I’ve ordered a 4K max, I have a few 4K already, but rarely use anything above HD.but remember, if you only use it in your motorhome and have to access data, then using a firestick at 4k resolution uses far more data, so most people set it for a much lower resolution, which sort of defeats the point of spending more money for the 4k version ! - if you have an older firestick in the house though, you could always move that into the moho and use a newer 4k version at home?
So, hardly ‘typical’ then……..Ours is 42in so yes
(Might be 38 but size isn’t everything so they tell me)
