I've bought a shiny new 4k firestick, side loaded mouse toggle and virgin Go TV onto it following the directions on here so I can.
However I can't get the mouse toggle to work, it goes to starting then I just get an error code P3 I think.
I've switched on ADB debugging.
Can anyone tell me where I'm going wrong ?

Yes, ADB turned on.
I've found a website that seems to offer some useful advice but unable to read it properly at the moment.
I'll study it later and let you know if it resolves the issue.
Thanks

Ok, originally I side loaded VM GoTV and mousetoggle together via apps2fire.
Then I got reading firesticktricks and that suggested loading it from downloader and gave options for different versions of firestick. So I uninstalled it and reinstalled it from downloader.
Hey presto, works first time
I've no idea if that was the problem but might be worth trying if others have difficulty getting it to work.
Thanks Phil 748 for input.
A lot of these firestick help sites seem to suggest using a VPN is that worthwhile ?
Or more to the point, simple to do ?

I am about to buy a Firestick. Surely you only need a VPN if you are streaming TV from “iffy” sources. My viewing will be strictly legit.

I am interested to hear if anyone has successfully side loaded Sky Go onto their Firestick?

Hi you don't need a VPN to watch TV on firestick, if you use a UK sim in your Phone or Mifi, not been able to get SKY GO to run on firestick, it's a Amazon and SKY issue, no problems with Virgin TV to Go to work

If you want to access legal content like BBC iplayer from abroad you need a VPN to make it appear you are in the uk

The new Firestick seems to come with a mouse preinstalled, I have not loaded Mouse this time but everytime an app needs a mouse it appears so I wonder if your error is due to a conflict with the mouse already installed
Edit: It could of course be the apps themselves that are providing the mouse
