It’s a well known make at least, but I would recommend one with a display, CO alarms activate at fairly safe levels, still need to take seriously but I want to know if the readings are 30 or 300 🤔👍

This is the one we use

There has been a couple of posts recently about Fire Angel smoke detectors so my attention was piqued when I saw this offer for a twin pack Smoke plus CO detectors on HUKD today. at £2.40
Advert says Asda Dundee, but may be available elsewhere?

There has been some adverts on the tele recently about CO2 monitors. Some new legislation is coming in forcing landlords to fit them to rented properties.

When you go into Asda, Dundee West website to place order it shows £24.00.

My Asda search shows £24.

I wonder if someone working at Asda, Dundee has fouled up with the pricing and a shopper has bought on on the "marked price" principle?

Wrong alarm, it's CO (carbon monoxide) monitors that landlords have to have installed in all properties by 1st October 2022 (1 in every room with a gas appliance in excluding hobs I seem to recall). I've been aware since July of the need due to a letting agent we'd used previously including me in their email about it. My own agents didn't tell me until recently and wanted to charge nearly £60 to supply and fit one and were going to do so unless they were told otherwise, so I emailed to say I'd sort it myself! I rang an independent chap located nearby who wanted to charge £80 for supply and fit as he was advised by an agent he does work for to charge 'as much as he can' .... ... needless to say I didn't use him either and instead have bought one off Ebay and it will be delivered to my tenants tomorrow who are willing to put it up, same as they've done in previous properties when smoke alarms were sent to them. I've bought one like the below with a display.
