The Finlux TV (Model 22FBE274B-NCM) at the current sale price of £130.00 :) looks to be a good deal but what do you get?

Out of the box...

A 12v lead with din style plug rather than a cheaper cigarette light plug. No voltage adapter on this so you will feed whatever voltage is at the socket to the TV. I'll drop the a line and ask the question if there is any type of voltage regulator in the TV itself
The plug gas a 6 amp glass fuse (the TV is rated at 3.90 amps)

There is also a mains adapter (electronic) and 3 pin UK plug and lead.

A stand is supplied which is secured with simple push pin so it can be removed if required.

The remote is tactile and is supplied with batteries.

On the rear it has screws to fit s 75mm vesa mount. No screws are provided and the manual gives no information on the maximum length of screw.

I'll give it a bit of a try out and add details next time

Bought one of these last year. Works for me. Won't work in France (on French stations) as they are all broadcast in HD. Not a deal breaker as who goes to France to watch TV!

Been using mine for 18 months or more just plugged into 12 volt van supply without a problem.
Regarding the 12 volt plug, did you know the red cap comes off and then it's a normal cigarette size plug.
Ps just re-read your post and you know the red bit comes off:whistle:

I think it's the other way around, red cap on - cig lighter and without din (hella) socket.

Can anyone with this model tell me if it will playback subtitles for the hearing impaired from TV programmes recorded using the PVR function on the set??

Thanks

Well I'm happy it plays region 1 and region 2 DVDs (although loading is slower than most DVD players). The TV tuner is quick to access and the sound is good enough for my needs. I also got the code for the Sky remote from their online chat.

I was also reassured that higher voltage when on charge would not be an issue.

It should be noted that when used on the stand there is no tilt facility.

If anyone with this model has recorded a Freeview TV programme to a USB drive could you play a few minutes of the programme back then press the Subtitle button on the TV .

Could you let me know if this displays subtitles over the recorded programme please?

Thanks in advance
