90% of you will know this already - but I didn't.
Last week my windscreen wipers packed up and I was expecting a fuse to be at fault (I was wrong, but that's another story).
As luck would have it I parked up and a mechanic was close by. I already knew where my fuse boxes were located but he took me by surprise when he started to clean inside the lids of my fuse box covers.
Sure enough, there was a diagram that showed little symbols that made it obvious which fuse was where. Dirt and dust had hidden this information from me, plus the fact that I never even expected such useful clues to be there.
Yes, I did have my manual but the info inside the fuse covers made it much easier to figure things out.
One other little tip. I spotted some very big fuses that I had not seen before and I did not have any replacements. I will buy some now and be ready in the future.
