Finally made it to Portugal (1 Viewer)

Well we have finally escaped from Zahora and Spain and arrived in Portugal

Boy is it busy with motorhomers down here. Last night we stayed on the aire at Castro Marim, a small free aire that takes just 15 vans and that was full with three or four vans parked on an adjacent carpark.

We left there and looked at the aire at Villa Real and now there just was a lot of vans on there and in our opinion was more akin to a gypsy encampment so we drove on

We have now parked up on the aire at Manta Rota, a custom built aire with all made up roads and hard standings and barriers at the entrance and it is just 4.50 per night with a trickle of free wifi.

Although it looks full it is actually very pleasant with board walks through the dunes to a superb long, long stretch of clean sandy beach.

Suprise suprise two more Funsters have also escaped from Zahora and were quick to great us as we arrived here

Pfffffft not sufficient puff in the wifi to download pictures so you will just have to use your imagination regarding the clear blue skies, golden sands, clear blue sea and beautiful almond trees in full blossom

Awww nip to the Staff Of Life in Todmorden and have a nice meal and put it on our slate we will sort it out with our daughter when we finally get brave enough to venture back to Blighty
