A few days later than planned. Left Eastbourne at 6 am and arrived 4.30 pm at Beauvais famous for the tallest gothic vault in the world. An excellent aire and quite popular.

Meant to head to Moulins today but went to Chartres instead. 18 euro including extra dog and its raining. Bah. Try moulins tomorrow but unlikely to get decent weather till we get to Spain.

Not only raining but Meg has been swimming in the Eure even though I told her not too.
I stopped Spice walking nonchalantly along the bank before he 'accidentally' managed to fall in. He must think I was born yesterday.

There's nothing like the sweet smell of a wet dog, it's OK with Izzy being small and easy to dry, but when we had our lab she was a nightmare.
