Has anyone moved up from iMovie to this? If so would you say its worth the expense? Is there a lot of background music to choose from and is it user friendly and not too technical?

By chance is anyone going to the Dumfries or Kelso meet that could bring their laptop and show me the program.

Thanks.

My son uses Final Cut Pro on his Macbook Pro.

He's a professional video editor though so he can justify the cost (and use lots of its potential). Most people really just want to edit a few clips together, add some music and export to Youtube. You'll be using 1% of Final Cut's potential for that.

If you want a selection of free background music then Youtube Audio Library has thousands of tracks. >> AUDIO LIBRARY <<

I filter by track length and style according to the videos I create then download the ones I like.
