Our motorhome is covered with Fiat roadside assistance since less than 2yrs old. Has Anyone needed to use it?

Read small print we keep this copy with us, if you have a tow-along unhitch before breakdown truck arrives, no doubt it will be a local recovery who will take you to a local garage as I doubt a Fiat professional will be close by.
For what its worth we have a OBD reader from euro carparts and always carry it just in case.

Yes, if your vehicle is UK registered it is RAC UK you will be dealing with even if you breakdown abroad.
