3 years 30,000 miles UK and Europe.. Campsites and off Grid.
My 2021 Fiat Ducato based MH is coming up to 2 years old in April. I thought I might get a slightly earlier first service done at Fiat in case anything come warranty related arises.

Phoned my nearest - Northern Commercials in Northampton. I was prepared to pay a bit over my usual local independent rates - maybe £300 tops for what is essentially oil, oil filter, fuel filter, pollen filter and brake fluid change.

£690!!!!

Give the garage their due. After hearing my horrified screams he did say Fiat Warranty would honour an independent garage service if it was done using reputable parts.

Short service £295 & full service £495 at our local fiat dealer.

Not sure what short/full is. 20,000 miles is oil, oil filter, fuel filter, pollen filter, brake fluid change, and general checks. so quite basic. I could do it on my drive in a few hours.

The garage seemed to access the price directly from Fiat. I wonder whether that is just a guide and individual garages can do it cheaper if they so wish. Probably depends on local competition too. This one seems to be the only one for Milton Keynes, Northampton, Bedford region.

I'd be asking what brands they consider reputable parts....in writing.

Out of warranty in 2 months - I'm not sure I can be bothered. I'm not expecting any problems - it's done 18000 with out any issues and isn't likely to move far before the warranty expires.
