Freind of mine has just driven from Benicarlo area too Benidorm area and has a diesel leak, not a major one but you can smell it and can see underneath is a bit damp with diesel. Does anyone know a garage etc in the Benidorm area or between Benidorm and Marjal campsite because that’s where there heading next. Really nice couple, would love to point them in the right direction if poss.

Tell them to go onto one of the Benidorm sites for a couple of nights the Brits on those sites are very helpful.

Tell him to check the Diesel Filter unit (RH Upper under Bonnet). Known fault with the plastic filter casings fitted to X250 series. Replacement about £80 on the net, and a 30 min job. Fiat will charge you in excess of £250.

Just to update on this. We walked round to the garage today and spoke to Andys wife, loverly lady. Andy is coming out to the campsite Monday to access the situation. Big thanks to Nomad for this info. Will update on the out come.
