RT T LINE 740 Fiat
Hi All looking for advice!!

I have done a diagnostic on my Fiat RT T Line 740 Fiat Ducatto 2020 using an OBD2 scanner. under stored and pending codes i have found the following

Stored codes P220E, P2211

P2211 Code - NOx Sensor Heater Sense Circuit High Bank 1.

P220E Code - NOx Sensor Heater Control Circuit Range/Performance Bank 1 Sensor 1

Pending codes P220E, P06EA and P2211

P2211 Code - NOx Sensor Heater Sense Circuit High Bank 1.

P220E Code - NOx Sensor Heater Control Circuit Range/Performance Bank 1 Sensor 1

P06EA Nox sensor processor performance (Bank 1 Sensor 1)

Question: Could this be a DIY fix to replace this Sensor or will it require a specialist to undertake.

Julian

hi and welcome.

1. do you have the ability to reset the warning light?
2. are you able to locate the sensor?

if yes to both then can see why you cant DIY it.

Thanks Phil

1. Yes I can
2. Not yet

The only thing I don't know from the fault codes is whether its the inlet or outlet Nox senser!!

I take it the vehicle has add blue, if you can reset the code that might work, the add blue system will need to run for between 60/90 min to compleat a cylcle before you now wether you have a faulty sensor or it was just a glitch.
you might find that only the main deal can reset add blue codes, it should be covered under warranty.

Hi, my advice would be to clear the fault codes and look to see what comes back, if any. This will give you a far more accurate picture of what (if anything) wrong.

We had a check light come on on our Fiat Ducato, at the beginning of this year, some 4,000 miles ago, it was cleared and didn't return.

Can't advise on replacing any sensors I'm afraid. :)

Do you start up the engine ensuring the ecu initial sequence has finished e.g. the dash lights go out before starting the engine. Not doing this can cause voltage variation to the ecu/sensors and cause engine mgt faults to show.

Is it still under warrenty 2yr if euro converter or 3 if British.
Before clearing codes save any freeze frame data (even a photo).
