Hi,

I am looking to replace my original all 4 Michelin Aqilis Camper tyres. According to Michelin this tyre is listed for summer use and although the rubber is marked as M & S it is not specifically certified for winter conditions. Michelin does list an Agilis Crossclimate tyres that does bear the 3PMSF (3 peak mountain snow flake) designation.

Do any motorhomers out there have any experience of of suitable replacement all season tyres?

Any advice would be appreciated.

I use General Eurovan AS 365 all season tyres

The are rated as winter tyres 3PMSF so can be used in Winter in Germany & Austria (winter tyres compulsory from Nov to Mar)

I have previously used General Grabbers on my 4wd vehicles, so am ok with the brand

Being van tyres there are no issues with weight

I use them all year round - wear does not seem different to 'ordinary' tyres

Wet grip is noticeably better, plus I have easily driven up icy hills that has thwarted other vehicles

No noticeable change in fuel economy or noise

You can check Tyre's EU ratings for wet grip, fuel efficiency & noise (bear in mind if doing comparisons that they are rated by size - different sizes of the same tyre may have different ratings)

Mine are

EU rating:

A for wet grip
C for econony
73dB for noise

Mine were £100 per corner fitted
