For travelling abroad it is mandatory in many countries to carry spare bulbs, when we had a caravan we could easily buy a kit from Halfords for the make of car we had. However with the MH I do not see a kit for a Ducato so the question is does anyone know if they or anyone else sells them or what to the rest of you do? I know I could just buy a few spare bulbs but the kit is good as it keeps them all in a nice little container in foam so they don't get damaged.

Thanks

Michael

Thank you, out of interest whats the difference between H4 & H7?
H4 is a twin filament headlamp bulb(dim & main in same bulb).
The Ducato uses H1 & H7 signal filament headlamp bulbs, H7 for dip beam & H1 for main beam, & fog lights will be H1.

Read up on how to take out the headlamp housing to replace the bulb. It is a fun job that involves a couple of bits of the front bodywork.

What @Lenny HB says. Got the one suitable for Fiat Ducato with all bulbs and fuses. Not opened but had for years.

Which is one reason why the requirement to carry spare bulbs has been scrapped in some, if not all, EU countries at least.

Note 2: Regardless of local requirements it is always a wise precaution to carry a spare set of vehicle bulbs and adjust headlamp beams for driving on the right. A spare bulb kit will not prevent a fine if you are travelling with faulty lights, but it may avoid the cost and inconvenience of a garage call out. On some cars it is inadvisable or impossible for anyone other than a qualified technician to change a headlamp bulb or lamp unit e.g. high intensity discharge (HID) headlamps and carrying spare bulbs is not an option. However, it is recommended that spare bulbs are carried for any lights which may be easily and/or safely replaced by the owner/driver. Do not forget to ensure that you also carry any tools that might be required to change the various bulbs.

Advised but not required by law.
