I now have the motorhome back from the garage.

the idea I adding a spin off fuel filter is a no go.
the presure from the Ducato pump built in ti the tank was too much for the Toyota filter.
also the strain seems to be too much for 2 filters in situe.
what we now have is a system that replaces the Fiat filter.
The original filter has been left in place with the electical conections.
the filter has been replaced with a Bosch 1-457-434-437 filter this will be much easier to change without any plastic housing breaking.

off for a trip this weekend so will give it a goid test.

filters are £12:95 in the UK.
if anyone can see any problems with my conversion I would be happy to here them as I am no expert.

Hi Bill thanks
Good point Bill I never tought of that.
I beter get it well insulated.
Its not a spin off filter Bill its just two pipes 1 in 1 out.

But it was Bosch here in Belgium that said you have to match the filter to the engine they know what vehicle its going on.

So hope it works
