Fiat Ducato Engine identification

Hello all….

I have a HYMER B614 Sl - 2012 …. And am looking to get it serviced / MoT’d next month, my local garage will do all the work ( they mot large stuff ) but have asked me to source the consumables ie Oil/Air/diesel filter etc ….
My question is … logbook states 2.99cc and power 130..

Can anyone point me right direction I’d of engine ….

If I put reg into Motorsparts vehicle search …. Nothing …

Would normally be a 2.3 at 130bhp - is it definitely a 3.0l?

There should be a MOTORE engine code on the VIN pate on the slam panel

Also the Fiat Certificate of Conformity will have engine size & power, power will be in kw.

Yours must be one of the very earliest later 3.0l engines although they were more than 130bhp - Ii think they were 180bhp

Wherever you buy the filters etc will use your reg number to identify the bits you need.
Even main dealers use this method and won't even look for parts otherwise.
Years ago I needed a sump bung washer but as we didn't have a fiat dealer I went to the local Peugeot dealer.....identical van, different badge.
As my reg was for a fiat they couldn't identify the part.

No it isn't ... The number is matched to the vehicle regardless of what the number is, providing its registered with DVLA.

Every time I try it on parts sites I get "we can't find your vehicle".

Useless with a personal plate.

I've got a personal plate on the van that I previously had on a car. If I use the plate on various "what parts do I need" sites and they know it's a Ducato.
