Fiat Ducato 2005 slam panel replacement ?

Hi everyone,
I'm just wondering if anyone here has replaced the "slam panel" at the front of their Ducato ?
(pictures attached)
I had planned on cleaning up the rusty one on our vehicle (Burstner elegance 686) - but after a bit more research - I see what appears to be new panels available (one I'm looking at is at Coastal MH's)
So...if anyone has done this - are you able to comment as to the difficulties encountered...?
It does look like I would need to remove front bumper / side valances to gain reasonable access - I've yet to crawl underneath to see what's involved...

Hi G Jones, did you replace the slam panel, I have the same problem....

I just removed the grille and headlights, then wire brushed it and got out a rattle can of satin black.
