hi. looking for wiring diagram for FIAT DUCATO 14 MWB 1996 2lt petrol to find out where the ignition coil sensors are ( cam shaft and crankshaft ) and if any body knows if engine immobiliser cuts the petrol or spark to the engine or it cuts off something else to stop it from firing , cranks over but want start

I do have a disc with all info on , unfortunately it will not work on my current laptop. It needs IE 6.0 or lower to work

hi. have breakdown cover and he tried it with that but just back fired with him

Crank sensor on top of bell housing, it senses the flywheel.

Cam sensor MAY BE on top of cam cover. R/H side between number 3 and 4 injectors.
Held down with a 10mm bolt.

hi. thanks for that was,nt sure if crankshaft sensor was at other end picking up a magnet toothed wheel or flywheel but not sure how flywheel sensor knows when to fire as sensor needs a toothed cog with either magnets and 1 missing and same to cam shaft sensor ( no teeth missing on fly wheel unless 1 tooth has a magnet in it ).
what my thought on firing was toothed magnet cog on cam shaft with sensor ( 1 tooth missing or teeth off lined ) toothed magnet cog on crankshaft ( same as above ) and when these missing magnets come together spark at plug .
could be totally wrong

a sensor not working , which 1 he has,ent a clue ( no OBD socket on van )
