Yo guys had a low battery alert text last night on checking it was low and even lower this morning, we’ve experienced days of dull overcast wet weather so solar not doing much. Battery is coming up 5 years old anyone know what size they are.

The battery will have a 3 digit code on it. This refers to physical size, layout of terminals, capacity etc. you might see it labelled on the top or you might ned to take it out to see it. I think it is a 019 but don't quote me on that. All manufactures will have an equivalent one with the same code

From your graphs it looks like the voltage was doing nicely then went up slightly then zapp.! And then went down hill from there, it’ll be interesting to know why it suddenly did….

Is there a date code on the battery? Mine van reg 2018 came of fiat line November 16 so are batteries inc lesuire fitted at fiat rapido or dealers?

Yes it’s an interesting graph, only the alarm and tracker drawing power it’s still on ehu which i will disconnect shortly (after Autumnwatch) so will see what happens overnight. Last winter I was having to charge it every week I have a 125w solar panel but a combination of short dull days and partial shading from trees obviously affects its output. My leisure batteries are showing a full charge so everything points to the vehicle battery coming to the end of its useful life. We do off ehu rallies and wilding over the winter so a good battery is essential.

Well a huge thumbs up for Tayna Batteries, ordered a replacement vehicle battery as earlier post at 15.45hrs yesterday it arrived at 15.30hrs this afternoon (Saturday) that is awesome service.

Battery is a Fiamm date stamped 07/16 so just over 5 years old
