Fiat 2.8JTD cam belt change and cost?

I have a potential purchase which is fitted with a Fiat 2.8JTD engine. It has had a new cam belt fitted 5 years ago but since then has only done 6,500 miles.

Should I be considering a belt change and if so what costs am I looking at?

Yes a complete kit + water pump if driven by the belt ,or belt has to be removed to change the pump. it isdue to be changed . No idea of cost though.

Just had mine done. £477 , this included an extra hour labour as the water pump was hard to get off.

Definitely 5 years .the cost of 250 to 500 quid ...if the the belt snapps the cost would be about 2000 to 3000 to repair
