Fiamma wind out sticking. (1 Viewer)

We've got a Fiamma wind out awning on the side of our motorhome and it sticks for the first 3 feet when winding out. If It's pulled it will come out and then wind out normally after first 3 feet. It winds back in ok.
Any ideas what the problem could be?

Take the cover off the winding mechanism and check the cog meshing,it may need replacing ,about £40

I've had a good look today and awning looks has though it's slightly curved so ends touch but centre is slightly proud.
Don't know if this would make it stick. Also it only needs a pull to start it off,not 3ft like I first thought.
I have noticed that the gearbox is very clunky and sometimes jumps cogs so I need to fit a new gearbox.
Does anyone,@Johns_Cross_Motorhomes have instructions how to remove and refit and how do I know what awning I've got?
