Hi I’m looking at buying a fiamma ultra box s for my accordo 120 has any one any views on these boxes ,or are there alternatives ones ? Any advice appreciated

Lightweight. A few different sizes. Doesn't take much to break them, eg, a decent knock.
Capacious boxes to store light weight bulky stuff freeing up room inside your van. Beware of condensation causing mould to cushions etc kept inside the box. They are quite pricey and sometimes you can bag a pre-used bargain on ebay for less wonga.
Fiamma also sell a rectangular bag type box as well.
Some people make and sell chequer plate aluminium boxes but they are far heavier but more secure. Most bike racks that the boxes sit on are designed to carry around 60KGs so the weight of the box will reduce the overall storage weight.

Right thanks for that I’ll bear those points in mind as I’m looking.

You could get a decent chequerplate aluminium one made to size on E.Bay.Metalifacture up in Yorkshire make them.More robust and secure.Got 2 on mine. They are very light.BUSBY.

Used a fiamma box for years, very useful for chairs etc. As mentioned earlier condensation can be a problem if ghings are put away a bit damp.

I’ll have a look at that cheers

We’ve got a 360 size box and it’s very useful not had no condensation problems.
As for security, I have the Growler bike loop wrapped around it.

Re the condensation, if you put damp materials into any box you will get it unless well ventilated

Has you van got a bike rack fitted if not Fiamma do brackets that fit straight to back wall.

We have the Ultra Box 700 mounted on the bike rack on our PVC. Very useful for chairs, ramps, ground sheet folding buckets, hoses and silver screen.

It needed to be mounted carefully otherwise it obscured the rear right light cluster as it is so wide. I moved it as far to the left as possible by drilling extra holes. I also had to buy stainless steel U bolts to mount it on the rack.

Hi.
We have one,its on the balcony at home storing chairs etc, Faults.... Some..... Person. during the build ... secured it :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: to the back door without backing plates. Be VERY carefull what you put in it. Otherwise it does what it says on the tin.

We use ours for my boss’s mobility scooter, or parts of it. So vital for us as otherwise we wouldn’t have much room for it. Find it blocks the reversing camera and just makes parking in a car park that bit harder, but otherwise no other problem.
I fitted a reflective sign on the lid to comply with EU regs and back up the lock with a couple of bungees.
